A BIT ABOUT US

Founded by entrepreneur, T.J. Hilton, to help the Florida Panhandle during the Hurricane Michael crisis, Honest Restoration Company continues to serve the Emerald Coast with Restoration Services backed by integrity.

T.J. Hilton was first certified by the IICRC as a Water Damage Technician in 2004 when he lived and worked in North Georgia and Atlanta. He developed a passion for Mold Remediation and Sanitation while developing his skills within the Restoration Industry. After several years of Restoration work he joined the Army and set off to eventually serve in South Korea and Iraq.

Throughout his journeys with the military, T.J. would continue to encounter Mold and have to apply his skillset to remediate. From barracks to chow halls, and eventually the home he bought while stationed at Fort Campbell, he would find himself remediating, restoring and providing consultation.

In 2011, T.J. would move to the Florida Panhandle as a Defense Contractor where he would continue serving his Country and deploy to Afghanistan before returning to civilian life as a full-time Entrepreneur in 2013.

In October of 2018, Hurricane Michael devastated Panama City and the surrounding area. T.J. knew the people of the Panhandle would need reliable and honest restoration services. He knew many people would be taken advantage of in the aftermath and chaos of the storm and set out to launch a bonafide Local and experienced Restoration Company to serve Bay County and the surrounding area.

Since 2018, Honest Restoration has successfully helped many families and homeowners overcome damages from Hurricane Michael and Hurricane Sally. Honest Restoration is now headquartered out of Walton County and continues to provide Mold Removal services near and along the Emerald Coast.​
